We offer farm tours for school field trips and for large groups by appointment. We also have seasonal events where free farm tours are given between noon and 3pm.
Our farm tours are a guided tractor-pulled wagon ride taking you through Barstow's Longview Farm. Visitors are able to see calves a few weeks to a year old, as well as the adult cows getting milked at the robotic milkers. The tour brings you through our barns, to robotic milkers, and to our anaerobic digester. The tour guides provide a history of the Barstow family farm as well as many other dairy farming points of interest. This is a great opportunity to see a working, innovative dairy farm.
Wagon Ride Farm Tour - fits 20 people comfortably - approximately 45 min - $80

It is important to us to be an educational and recreational resource for our surrounding community of educated and involved people. However, it costs us about $60 an hour to run a tractor between fuel and upkeep and 1-2 employees per tour. We charge a small fee for our pre-scheduled tours which you can find above.
Tours on event days and special events at Barstow's Dairy Store and Bakery are free and open to the public.
